How do I learn to scuba dive?

If you book a course with us we will introduce you to diving step by step.
Oceanic Divers will teach you important theory and the basic skills under the water. After you finish you will get certified and you are officially allowed to dive.

How long does it take to get certified?

The PADI Open Water Diver course is flexible and performance based, which means that your PADI dive shop can offer a wide variety of schedules, organized according to how fast you progress.

What gear will I need to scuba dive?

In general, everything you need you can rent from us. If you want to have your own you are very welcome to ask us for advice, as there is a lot of brands and different models for most of the gear.

Do I have to be a good swimmer to scuba dive?

Some swimming ability is required. You need to have basic swim skills and be able to comfortably maintain yourself in the water. Float and tread water for 10 minutes, again using any methods you want.

Which organization should I choose for my course?

With Padi you need to complete a set order while SSI and SDI allows slightly more flexibility.
Other than this the courses are more or less similar: all offer online material and cards, are accepted all over the world and maintain high standarts of practice. But in the end its the instructor your experience depends on… with Oceanic Divers you are in good hands.
